Abstract
The main discussion in the writing of this paper is about the role of the Syahbandar and the Port Authority in the service of Arrival and Departure of the ship by using the Pulau Sambu Ksop system. how is the Syahbandar's Duties in Shipping Security and Safety Under Indonesian Law, the Syahbandar in Issuance of Sailing Approval, What are the parties involved in the arrival and departure of obstacles in the ship's clearance process. The company is engaged in shipping safety and security, coordinating government activities. Based on the data collection by the author using several methods including methods of observation, interviews, and document analysis, the results are obtained that: the role of the shahbandar in supervision and safety will run smoothly if the staff of the employee in providing national sea transportation services that can be relied on and highly capable and meets national and international standards.
