Abstract
Crewing management is the management of ship manning carried out by shipping companies to prepare all the requirements of a sailor before he departs aboard. The purpose of crewing is to get as many prospective crew as possible to enable the crew to select or select candidates in accordance with the qualifications needed, the more candidates that are successfully gathered the better because the possibility of getting good candidates will be even greater. The results obtained in crewing activities are a number of prospective crew members who will enter the selection process, namely the process of determining which candidates are most suitable to fill certain positions available and which are needed to fill vacancies on ships, data collection is not guided by theory but guided by the facts that were discovered during the research in the field.
