Abstract
SYSTEM OPERATE AND CARE FOR COOLING WATER TO SUPPORT PERFORMANCE OF PARENT MACHINES IN TB. ALIM II PT KALTIM SHIPYARD SAMARINDA Cooling is a medium that serves to absorb heat, the heat is obtained from the combustion of fuel the cylinder. In order for the diesel motor building to be maintained from the voltage due to heat, then the heat generated must be controlled. The situation can only be solved by circulating the cooling medium with constant pressure to all motor components. In this paper using several research method, namely: Field Method, Interview Method, and Method of Library. After the authors do research the authors can conclude that. The way the cooling system is treated is often to check the cooling system components and pump maintenance for maximum cooling results, the purpose of cooling is to keep the engine working continuously, achieve optimum power, reduce engine damage, maintain temperature working continuously, achieve optimum power, reduce engine damage, maintain temperature working normal conditions, engine endurance or material for longer.
