Abstract
The main discussion in the writing of this paper is to find out everything related to the activities of the supply of goods needed by the ship by PT. Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Surabaya. There are several background processes and supply service procedures, How to operate the supply service system, Parties related to the supply service process, Obstacles that occur in the supply of goods service, how to overcome obstacles that occur while handling service supply of goods needed by the ship. The purpose of writing this Paper is none other than to know the process and procedure of supply of goods, to know the service system for supply of goods needed by the ship, to know the parties related to the service of supply of goods, to find out the obstacles in the service of supply of goods, to find out handling obstacles in the process of supplying goods services, the authors use several methods, namely, interviews, observation, documentation and literature methods. The results of the discussion of this paper is the completion of the service request request for ship goods by PT. Salam Pacific Indonesia Liness Surabaya will run smoothly if the parties involved in supply services can meet the established procedures.The process of procurement of goods is quite complicated and long resulting in the processing of documents can not run smoothly and on time because each service is not in the same place / PC (Personal Computer) so it requires a long time. This resulted in hampered the smooth performance of the ship at PT. Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Surabaya due to late delivery or procurement of goods needed by the ship Keywords: Service, supply of goods.
