Abstract

The main discussion in writing this paper is about passenger and vehicle services at ferry ports by PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Ketapang branch. There are several background problems that must be resolved in this paper, namely how the passenger and vehicle services at the ferry port, Ketapang Gilimanuk Crossing Port are the liaison between Java and Bali. Tap mpr No.II / mpr / 1993, stated to improve national national shipping capabilities so that the need for a method to determine the most optimal sea passenger transportation routes. Is a company that makes access to inter-island public transportation. From this, the company is still lacking in providing services to find out how to process and carry out loading of KMP vehicles. Mutis, to find out what documents must be considered in loading passengers and vehicles, to find out what agencies are faced during loading and document activities of vehicles and passengers. Based on data collection conducted during land practice (PRADA) the author uses several methods including observation, interview, and document analysis methods, obtained from the results that: Roles in the process of loading passengers and documents that must be considered in loading passengers and vehicles must be really meticulous and in accordance with the scheduling that has been set so that there is no queue and buildup of vehicles.
