Abstract
In this study analyzed four research variables of ship crew, weather and technical ship as an independent variable that influences the dependent variable that is ship accident. Problem formulation, research objectives and hypotheses in this study are to analyze the positive and significant influence individually between the independent variables namely the ship crew, weather and technical ship to the dependent variable that is the accident of the ship. In this study the object taken was the crew of the ship at the port of Tanjung Emas in Semarang. Data sources include primary and secondary data. The sample in this study was 70 respondents who were ship crews in the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression techniques and with SPSS26.0 statistical aids, based on the results of research and data analysis generated regression equations: Y = 0,328 +0,417X1+0,164X2+0,391X3+µ The results of multiple linear regression equations show that there is a positive and partially significant effect between ship crew on ship accidents (t count = 4.984 > t table = 1.99547), weather on ship accidents (t count = 2.054 > t table = 1, 99547) and technical ship to ship accident (t count = 4.925 > t table = 1.99547) while the coefficient of determination gets an R square value of 0.596, thus 59,6% of ship accidents are explained by these 3 variables, while the remaining 40.4% is the influence of other variables not included in this study. Based on the analysis conducted, it was concluded that the ship crew was first of the three variables that affected the ship accident variable at the port of Tanjung Emas in Semarang, then from testing the hypothesis that allegedly the ship crew, the weather and technicality of the ship had a positive and significant effect on ship accidents at Tanjung Emas Semarang has been tested for truth.
