Abstract

Driving safety is driving behavior which ideally must have a sufficient level of safety for oneself and others. Whether it's security for yourself or the safety side for other road users. Especially for motorists who are on toll roads, this can be seen from previous accident cases from the previous cases that occurred to motorists on toll roads who had average accidents related to factors related to driving safety. In this study, driving safety is influenced by several factors including traffic culture, vehicle conditions, and road infrastructure. These three factors play an important role in improving driving safety. The population in this study were class I vehicle drivers at PT. Trans Marga Central Java Semarang - Solo work area with a research sample of 100 respondents, the variables in the study consisted of: traffic culture independent variable (X.1), vehicle condition (X.2) and road infrastructure (X.3) as well as dependent variables namely driving safety (Y). The data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (software) Statistic Packa ge For Social Science (SPSS) version 25. The results of the research by testing the t-test hypothesis partially show that traffic culture, vehicle conditions and road infrastructure have a positive and significant effect on driving safety. Based on the research results it can be seen that the research model of the multiple linear regression equation is: Y = 0.473 + 0.200.X1 + 0.474.X2 + 0.257.X3 + µ. From the regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable affecting driving safety is the vehicle condition variable with a regression coefficient of 0.474. And the R2 (R Square) test results in 0.619 or 61.9%, which means that driving safety on the Semarang - Solo toll road is influenced by traffic culture variables, vehicle conditions, and road infrastructure, which is 61.9% and factors. others that affect driving safety on the Semarang - Solo toll road by 61.9% or 0.619 Keywords : Traffic Culture, Vehicle Condition, Road Infrastructure and Driving Safety
