Abstract

Transportation is a vital need for the community. Transportation has a very important role in connecting the regions which are the source of raw materials. The more needs needed, the more accident rates are caused by the high number of vehicles. Likewise on the main road that connects the city of Denpasar with the city of Singaraja, it is an easy road to a traffic accident due to congested transportation. Knowing the Factors of Violations That Trigger Traffic Accidents on the Denpasar-Singaraja Highway. This research is an asositive research or relationship. The research instrument used a questionnaire given to motorists totaling 100 respondents. The results obtained by High Speed t count value of -789 while the t table value of 1.983 shows the value of t count <t table of 0.05 then Ha is accepted that High Speed has no effect. Traffic Equipment Violations obtained t value of 4.428 and t table value of 1.983 that the value of t count> t table of 0.05 then ha is accepted indicating Traffic Equipment Violation has a positive effect. Unusual Behavior obtained t count value of 3.621 t table value of 1.983, then t arithmetic> t table of 0.05 then Ha is accepted showing Unusual Behavior has a positive effect. The High Speed factor does not have a positive effect on traffic accidents, while Traffic Device Violations and Unusual Behavior has a positive effect on traffic accidents. It is expected that all riders remain cautious and also orderly and obey all traffic regulators, if when driving tired you should rest and drive according to a maximum speed of 60km / hour, do not rush so we can minimize traffic on the road so that it can reduce accident rates.
