Abstract

With the increasing population of the city of Jakarta, public transportation that is able to accommodate the needs of the community becomes important. The DKI Jakarta government will find it difficult if most of its citizens choose to use private public transportation, because the condition of public transportation in Jakarta is still relatively inadequate. If the DKI Jakarta government wants to reduce the existence of private vehicles, proper public transportation information is essential. To overcome this problem, the DKI Jakarta government plans to develop a suitable public transport mode to serve the people of Jakarta. The planning was initiated through the DKI Jakarta regulation which was later contained in the Governor's Decree Number 84 of 2004 and the Governor Regulation Number 103 of 2007 which contained macro transportation patterns. Through this process on January 15, 2004 the implementation of the Transjakarta Busway transportation mode was launched. The sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling with this type of sampling, namely convenience sampling. The sample used in the study was 100 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help (software) Statistics Package for Social Science (SPSS). Hypothesis test results show that the variables Price Effect, Accessibility, and Information partially affect the interest (power of interest) on APTB bus customers of the Tanggerang-Pulogadung route. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Y = 1.015 + 0.394 X1 + 0.316 X2 + 0.356 X3 + μ. From this equation, it is known that the variable that most influences the interest (interest power) is the Information variable with a regression coefficient of 0.394. The R2 (R square) test resulted in a result of 0.574 or 57.4%, which means that interest (interest power) is influenced by Price Effect, Accessibility, and Information variables, namely 57.4% and other factors that affect Interest (interest power) which is equal to 42.6%.
