Abstract

Productivity, production power, or productivity is a term in production activities as a comparison between output (output) and input (input). Productivity is a measure that states how well resources are managed and utilized to achieve optimal results. Productivity can be used as a measure of the success of an industry in producing goods or services. This study aims to determine the effect of ship mooring time, loading and unloading speed, and tool utility partially and simultaneously on the productivity of the study dock at IPC TPK Domestic Terminal 3. The population in this study were service users / shipping agents with a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used was probability sampling with the type of sampling, namely simple random sampling. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (Software) Statistic Package for Social Science (SSPS). The results of the research obtained that the t value of t value is 4.834, while the t table is 1.98498, which shows the value of t count> t table of 0.05, so Ho is accepted that utility tools have a positive and significant effect. The time of mooring is obtained t value of 3.733 and t table value of 1.98498 that t count> t table of 0.05, then Ha is accepted, indicating the ship mooring time has a positive and significant effect. The loading and unloading speed obtained t value of 3.602 and t table value of 1.98498 that t count> t table of 0.05, then Ha is accepted, indicating the loading and unloading speed has a positive and significant effect. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained the equation Y = -1.015+ 0.394 X1 + 0.316 X2 + 0.356 X3 + μ. From the regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable that has an effect on dock productivity is the mooring time variable with a regression coefficient of 0.394. And the value of the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square = 0.574) means that it is 57.4% while the rest (100% -57.4% = 42.6%) is influenced by other variables outside the research or outside the regression equation model.
