Abstract

Sailing Safety is very important and occupies a central position in all aspects of the shipping world. Dedication to Shipping Safety tends to result in material, medical, environmental pollution and loss of life. But seeing cases of ship accidents that are increasing from year to year and more fatalities, shipping safety needs extra attention. This study aims to influence on SOLAS, 1983, Stability, and ECDIS in a persian way on the Safety of Shipping Studies at KM. PT. Kelimutu PELNI Semarang Branch. Population on Ship Men (ABK) in KM. PT. Kelimutu PELNI Semarang Branch and the sample used is non-probability sampling with a type of sampling pruporsive sampling. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS)) software. Hypothesis test results indicate that the variables SOLAS, 1983, Stability, and ECDIS influence persially on Shipping Safety Study on KM. PT. Kelimutu PELNI Semarang Branch. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Y = -1,169 + 0,365X1 + 0,354X2 + 0,361X3 + U. From the equation it is known that the most dominant variable influencing Shipping Safety is the SOLAS variable, 1983 with a regression coefficient of 0.365. The R2 (R square) test showed a result of 0.361 or 36.1% which means that Shipping Safety is influenced by the SOLAS variable, 1983, Stability, ECDIS 36.1% and other factors that affect Shipping Safety that is equal to 58.1%.
