Abstract
Driving safety is influenced by various factors, including driving behavior, road conditions and traffic discipline. All three have an important role in influencing driving safety. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of driving behavior, road conditions or traffic discipline on Jalan Tlogosari Raya Semarang either partially or simultaneously. The sample in this study were 100 respondents who were users of two-wheeled vehicles on Jalan Tlogosari Raya Semarang. The sampling technique uses residential sampling. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Based on empirical facts, it shows that the traffic discipline variable (X3) t count is 5.318 and the regression coefficient is 0.545 in affecting driving safety. Where traffic discipline includes obeying traffic rules, obeying traffic signs, and completing driving documents. The driving behavior (X1) t count is 2.246 and the regression coefficient is 0.192 in affecting driving safety. Where driving behavior includes lack of responsibility, selfishness, impatience, irritability, stress, anxiety, and boredom. The road condition (X2) t count is 2.292 and the regression coefficient is 0.189 in affecting driving safety. Where road conditions include lack of roadside signs, lack of road markings, damaged roads, and sharp turns affecting driving safety. Thus the results showed that the variables of driving behavior, road conditions, and traffic discipline had a positive and significant effect on driving safety.
