Abstract
Transportation is the lifeblood that plays a very big role in supporting the wheels of national development. One means of sea transportation is sea transportation in the form of a ship which is a very vital means of transportation for carrying passengers, goods and vehicles. This study aims to determine the effect of Import Documents, Delivery Time, and Type of Goods partially on the Smoothness of Imported Goods at PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia. The population in this study is taken from the employees of PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia and the sample used in this study were 118 respondents. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with the type of sampling, namely Simple Random Sampling. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistic Package for Social Science (SPSS). Hypothesis test results indicate that the variables Import Documents, Delivery Time, and Type of Cargo partially affect the Smoothness of Imports of Goods at PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Y = 2.195 + 0.307X1 + 0.148X2 + 0.298X3 + µ. From this equation, it is known that the variable that has the most dominant influence on the Smoothness of Import of Goods is the Import Document variable with a regression coefficient of 0.307. The R2 (R square) test results in 0.509 or 50.9%, which means that the smooth import of goods at PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia is influenced by variables of Import Documents, Delivery Time, and Type of Cargo, namely 50.9% and other factors that affect the Smoothness of Imports of Goods at PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia amounted to 49.1% such as Shipping Costs, Shipping Fleets and others. Keywords: Import Documents, Delivery Time, Type of Load and Smoothness of Imports of Goods
