Abstract
Transportation is the artery of life whose role is very large in supporting the wheels of national development. One of the means of sea transportation is sea transportation in the form of ships which are a transportation vehicle which is vital for transporting passengers, goods or vehicles. This study aims to determine the effect of Responsibility KSOP, Ship Whorthiness, and Supervision partially on Shipping Safety at Port Master Office and Port Authority Class IV Tanjung Pandan, Belitung. The population in this study was taken from Ship came in from January to February 2020 and the sample used in this study were 63 respondents. The sampling technique used is non probability sampling with the type of sampling that is Simple Kouta. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (statistical) software package for social science (SPSS). Hypothesis test results indicate that the variable Responsibility KSOP, Ship Whorthiness, and Supervision partially effect on Shipping Safety at Port Master Office and Port Authority Class IV Tanjung Pandan, Belitung . The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Y = 2.222 + 0.289X1 + 0.236X2 + 0.321X3 + µ. From the equation it is known that the most dominant variable influencing Shipping Safety is the Supervision variable with a regression coefficient of 0.321. R2 test (R square) obtained results of 0.607 or 60.7% which means that Shipping Safety at Port Master Office and Port Authority Class IV Tanjung Pandan, Belitung is influenced by the variable of Responsibility KSOP, Ship Worthiness, and Supervision that is equal to 60.7% and other factors that affect Shipping Safety at Port Master Office and Port Authority Class IV Tanjung Pandan, Belitung, which is 30.3%.
