Abstract
The cylinder liner is one of the engine components that functions as a place for the combustion system to take place. Where in this section is the place for the piston to move from the top dead center to the bottom dead center. Therefore, in order to avoid compression leakage caused by friction between the piston rings and the cylinder wall liners, a cylinder wall liner is required which has a high hardness value and requires periodic maintenance of the cylinder liner according to the provisions and is new to the data contained in the instruction manual. connect. Because if there is a compression leak in the combustion chamber, this can result in the power released by the engine being victimized, and the combustion system in the combustion chamber is imperfect. The purpose of this research is to damage the cylinder liner and get a solution for periodic maintenance in order to reduce the problems on the cylinder liner. The result of cylinder liner maintenance can be engine in optimal condition. Engine start is not constrained by constant rotation at 1200 rpm. Key Words : Cylinder liner, diesel engine, maintenance.
