Abstract
This research is background because safety and health is important for company especially in Port, because impact of accident and work disease not only harming labor, but also company either directly or indirectly. If the workforce is treated appropriately and in accordance with its dignity and prestige, the company will achieve results in accordance with the objectives desired by the company. This study uses independent variables, namely health (X1), job training (X2) and use of APD (Personal Protective Equipment) (X3), and workload loading and unloading as dependent variable (Y). The data collected in the research using Simple Random Sampling samples with questionnaires method that is distributed to 100 workers Labor loading and unloading logs at PT. PELINDO III Branch Tanjung Emas Semarang. While the analysis is done by data processing using SPSS version 22.0 for windows. The result of regression analysis and t test can be seen that health variable (X1) has positive effect on work accident of loading and unloading (Y) (t count 2,728> t table 1,984), job training (X2) has positive effect to workload loading (Y) t arithmetic 4,280> t table 1,984) and the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) (X3) have a positive effect on workload loading and unloading (Y) (4,318> t table 1,984). The result of coefficient of determination (Adjusted R² = 0.531) means equal to 53.1%, coefficient of health variables, job training, and use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), effect on loading and unloading accidents with the value of 53.1% while the rest (100% - 53.1% = 46.9%) is influenced by other variables outside the research or outside the regression equation model.
