Abstract
The oil spill effect in the sea carries a huge loss to the country that most of the region is the waters that cause the damaged of the ecosystem in the sea to be unbalanced and to make the productivity of the sea result decreased. Annex 1 in Marpol 1973/1978, is an oil pollution prevention regulation from ship operational and offshore drilling operations aimed at minimizing and eliminating pollution in the sea from oil pollution. The purpose of this research is to determine the international provisions governing the prevention of oil pollution has been implemented in MT. Enduro. While the method of data collection used by observation on board, a thorough interview with the crew of the vessel and related parties in research and literature studies used to complement the research. The results showed that by the synergy of the company and the shipcrews in the prevention of pollution can be done well by MT. Enduro by implementing Annex 1 Marpol 1973/1978 as a guideline in carrying out all forms of activities related to oil on the tanker. So, if there is an oil spill incident on board can be immediately resolved in accordance with the applicable procedures and regulations. Keywords : Oil spill, Annex 1, MT. Enduro, Synergy.
