Abstract
Bus Rapid Transit or abbreviated BRT is one of the land transportation which is in great demand by the community to take the desired destination. However, in this case the safety factor such as the speed of drivers driving the BRT, the adherence to traffic rules, the security against pickup and thuggery disorder is preferred, as it concerns the security and comfort of the passengers, As we know that the safety of BRT passengers is the responsibility answer from the driver itself, where the driver is the operator who is very instrumental in driving the BRT during the trip. the purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of work environment, compensation and work discipline on the performance of driver Bus Rapid Transit or BRT Trans Jateng Bawen-Tawang majors. The sample in this research is 30 respondents who are the driver of BRT Trans Jateng Bawen-Tawang majors. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with the type of sampling is saturated sampling. The method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data is analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis with the help (Software) Statistic Pakage For Social Science (SPSS) version 22.0. the results of this study indicate that the variables of work environment, compensation, and work discipline have an effect on the persial and simultaneously on the performance of BRT Trans Jateng driver in Bawen-Tawang department. Results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained equation Y = -0.435 + 0.374X1 + 0,510X2 + 0,154X3 + μ. From the regression equation it can be seen that the most dominant variable affecting the driver's performance is a variable compensation with a regression coefficient of 0,510. With R2 test (R Square), the result is 0,707 or 70,7% which means that the performance of driver of BRT Trans Jateng in Bawen-Tawang is influenced by work environment, compensation and work discipline variable, 70.7% and other factors. affecting the performance of drivers BRT Trans Jateng majors Bawen-Tawang is 29.3%.
