For marine sailing direction are tools or systems outside the ship that are designed and operated to improve the security and safety of shipping and navigation efficiency of ships and ship traffic. Therefore, the optimization of SBNP must always be improved and implemented well so that the ship remains safe and protected from navigation hazards while sailing. In this case, KN. This paper aims to find out the important role of KN. Prajapati in optimizing SBNP in the working area of Class III Navigation District of Semarang.
