Abstract
OPERATING AND CARE SYSTEM OF RESCUE CRANE IN KN. SAR SADEWA 231 IN SEMARANG SEARCH AND ASSISTANCE OFFICE Rescue Cranes (Cranes) is one type of material handling, which uses a hoist (chain hoist or wire rope hoist) and a steel structure that has been fabricated, where the main purpose of this system is to increase and decrease the load vertically and horizontally. Because of its manfat, the crane has become an important part in oprasional. There are 4 common types of cranes. Overhead Crane, Gantry Crane, Jib Crane, and Crane Lift. For Rescue Crane by itself using Jib Crane. Workstation crane using circular arm movement with maximum load capacity up to 5 tons, excess Jib Crane installation area is smaller and can increase productivity especially in assembly area. Care for the Rescue Crane must be done regularly every 1 month, which must be considered the maintenance of the Rescue Crane always checks wire rope, mast, counter jib, pulley, counterweight, and slewing units.
