Abstract
Sewage Treatment Plant is one of the auxiliary machining systems used to process sewage or human waste on the ship so that the waste can be discharged into the sea and does not cause marine pollution that can have an impact on humans, marine life and the environment itself. The background of writing this Paper is Pengaru Not Optimal Work Sewage Treatment Plant Against Marine Sustainability in KM. Indigenous, which has a function so that later on wastewater from ships is safe to dispose of into the sea and does not cause pollution to the marine environment. The formulation of the problem in this research is the pollution of the sea due to the non-optimal performance of the Sewage Treatment Plant and the need to optimize the performance of the Sewage Treatment Plant to avoid pollution at sea. to find out prevention efforts in this problem the Job Training in KM. Native for 4 months. The conclusion of this study is the result of the lack of care in the Sewage Treatment Plant that is the occurrence of interference or damage that causes the Sewage Treatment Plant system can not work optimally. Sewage Treatment Plant maintenance methods must be done properly and correctly in accordance with the manual book that has been provided on board so that the condition of the components in the auxiliary machining can be optimal optimizations in the Sewage Treatment Plant can be avoided, so as not to damage the preservation of the marine environment in the ship crossing area and damage to the auxiliary machinery itself.
