Abstract
The main discussion in the writing of this paper is about agency services at PT. TarunaCipta Kencana Lampung Branch in the harbor of mighty beautiful sources. There is a background that must be resolved in this paper, namely how the process of ship agency services provided, what obstacles are encountered in the service and what efforts PT. TarunaCipta Kencana Lampung Branch in providing effective services. The company is engaged in ship agency services both national and international vessels. The process of ship agency services starts from ships entering the port to leaving the port. The services provided are the clerance in / out process, the sign on the ship's crew sign, the filling of fresh water, the filling of staples of food and etc. that the ship needs. So that the ship agency service process can run smoothly, precisely and quickly, PT. Tarunacipta kencana must pay attention and prepare all the facilities and infrastructure needed in the process of ship service. Based on observations during land practice the author uses several methods including observation and interviews, the results are obtained that: agency services will run smoothly if they have the right employees in their fields and often communicate well with related agencies so that the process of ship service can run well.
