Abstract

This paper aims to illustrate for or provide insight into foreign ship agencies that contain coal in the port of Tanjung Bara Sangatta East Kalimantan, as well as provide insight to the public that a country rich in agricultural products including coal capable of supplying the needs of industrial countries in the world . To achieve these results, the authors use the observation method with the results of the Cearance in and Clearance out process of the MV.AGIOS NIKOLAOS I V.18 by the agency company PT.Sea Horse Sangatta east Kalomantan Branch which is marked by the occurrence of coal loading at the Port of Tanjung Bara Sangatta East Kaimantan. World industrial companies that need materials such as coal, large companies that use coal materials very often bring coal from countries rich in agricultural products, including our country Indonesia. Indonesia is the second largest coal producer in the world, capable of supplying the needs of the industrial countries in the world. The result coal are of non-renewable natural resources in the form of flammable rocks that are more than 50% - 70% by weight of the volume are organic material which is carbon material, coal functions to fuel steam power plants (PLTU) to coke or steel making Keywords : coal transport vessel
