Abstract
The main discussion in the writing of this paper is a system of mobile ticket booking services (Pelni Mobile Application) at PT, Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia Semarang Branch. As for some background problems that must be resolved in this paper, namely how to sell tickets through mobile applications, passenger boat ticket booking procedures through mobile applications, what are the features of mobile applications and what are the advantages and disadvantages of mobile applications. The company is engaged in sea transportation in the form of passenger transportation and freight transportation. Mobile and online ticket booking activities have been successfully implemented with application features that make it easy for customers. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out how to sell tickets through mobile applications, passenger boat ticket booking procedures, mobile application features and the advantages and disadvantages of mobile applications. Based on data collection by the author using several methods including; observation, interview and document analysis methods. From these methods the results are obtained that: ticket sales through the Pelni Mobile Application require clear and easy-to-understand service information so that customers know the procedure for ordering tickets through a mobile application to resolve existing problems. This aims to minimize the occurrence of errors in the passenger service process and to improve customer satisfaction. Keywords: Booking, Ticket, Mobile Application
