Abstract
The main discussion in writing this paper is about how the container by PT. Panurjwan National Shipping Company (Samudra Group) Surabaya. There are some background problems that must be resolved by the writer, namely the services provided during container loading and unloading activities, container loading flow, the advantages of the bay plan system, the obstacles that occur during loading and unloading. PT. The Panurjwan National Shipping Company is a loading and unloading company that deals with the loading and unloading of containers. The purpose of writing this Paper is none other than loading and unloading services, container flow, bay plan excellence, obstacles when loading and unloading. Based on data collection conducted during land practice (Prada), the author uses several methods, namely interviews, observations, document studies, and focus group discussions as well as the source and type of data. The results of this paper are services provided by the process of loading and unloading containers, the role of the Bay Plan in the process of loading containers, the advantages of the Bay Plan in the process of loading and unloading, barriers to loading and unloading activities, to achieve optimal loading and unloading activities, the Bay Plan is needed as a guide qualified in the preparation of containers onto the ship and so that when loading runs smoothly and the ship sails safely.
