Abstract
PT.Bintang Samudra Utama Pontianak branched is a shipping company engaged in ship agency and unload cargo of Fertilizer. PT.Bintang Samudra Utama Pontianak branch responsible for providing operational services .This paper uses qualitative research methods that are ready to get the results of data through direct sources with instruments from the researchers themselves. Interview Analysis, Observation, Document and Library Studies. From this method can help the writing of this paper with lancer and good.The result of this paper is an agent role in serving the arrival and departure of vessels owned by PT. Bintang Samudra Utama pontianak branch is less than the maximum in preparation of the required documents. This is due to the filing of documents by the company is not placed by the place, causing the possibility of the name of the document tucked.
