Abstract
OPTIMALIZATION OF ROLE OF PORT STATE CONTROL (PSCO) IN SHIPPING PARTY SUPPLY IN TANJUNG SEMARANG PORT Port State Control (PSC) is the inspection / inspection of foreign ships in a port of a country to verify that the condition of the ship and its equipment meets the requirements of international regulations and is manned and operated in accordance with requirements such as SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC, STCW, etc. In connection with the implementation of the inspection, IMO has encouraged the formation of regional PSC organizations and MoU MoU agreements - signed across all the world's oceans: Europe and the North Atlantic (Paris MoU), Asia Pacific (Tokyo MoU), Latin America (Acuerdo de Viña del Mar ), Caribbean (Caribbean MoU), West and Central Africa (Abuja MoU), Black Sea MoU, Mediterranean (Mediterranean MoU), Indian Ocean (MOU), and Riyadh MoU. Ships that do not comply with international regulations imposed by the State in which the Port-vessel will face the risk of detention until such inconsistency has been corrected. In the event of Indonesian ship detention by the State where the ship is docked Cruise ship (cruise ship or cruise liner) is a ship that is used specifically for recreational purposes. Passengers board a cruise ship to enjoy the time spent on the boat equipped with lodging facilities and equipment like a five-star hotel. Most cruise ships have a regular shipping route back to the port of departure. The length of the cruise can vary, from a few days to about three months not returning to the port of departure. In this research using lecture method plus because learning process through question and answer, discussion and practice and method of tour work used learning at checking on foreign ship.
