Abstract

The Navigation District of Class I Tanjung Pinang is one of the Technical Implementation Units (UPT) within the Directorate General of Sea Transportation where in the implementation of work is divided into fields including the field of Marine Observation. One of its tasks is conducting navigation surveys, including positioning, depth measurements, tidal observations, currents and bathymetry surveys. This survey was carried out using qualitative research methods that were descriptive analytical in nature, namely data obtained from field measurements. The results obtained from the survey are constraints caused by natural factors and technical factors. The equipment used in supporting this survey were the 2015 Multimode Multibeam Sonar (M3S), Global Position System (GPS) and survey transportation using the Nongsa State Ship. The final results of the survey took the form of a complete bathymetry map with the lowest number of pairs and low tides in the Sri Bintan Pura Port and during the survey there were no disturbances of the seabed in the inlet and landing areas and swivel pools at Sri Bintan Pura Port. The Tanjung Pinang Class I Navigation District has carried out the procedure for implementing bathymetry surveys correctly and in accordance with predetermined standard procedures. Key words : Bathymetry survey, Tanjung Pinang Class I Navigation District
