Abstract
The Influence of the District Navigation on Shipping Flow as a Safety Effort at TanjungIntan Port in Cilacap Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in the world, this is evidenced by 2/3 of its territory being waters, so that sea transportation has a very important role for the island nation. Indonesia has 17,504 islands and is combined with a vast ocean, so that sea transportation becomes a "pulse of the pulse" for the Indonesian economy.To ensure transportation safety in the sea, it is necessary to have facilities to support shipping safety, such as shipping navigation facilities (SBNP) , navigational state ship for example KN. Suar 005 which operates under the auspices of the Tanjung Intan Cilacap Class III District Navigation work area, as well as other infrastructures. This study aims to provide insight to cadets about the role of state ships in navigating operational activities for optimal safety. navigate for ships carrying out voyages in the waters within the Tanjung Intan Cilacap District III Navigation Region work area.The data collection method uses library studies, observations, and interviews.The results of this paper indicate that the influence of the Navigation District has a very important role. nting in the navigation operational process for optimal navigation safety for ships that cross the waters of the Tanjung Intan Cilacap Class III District Navigation work area.
