Abstract
Container Loading And Unloading Process in the MV. Selatan Damai With Windows And General Systems By PT. Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia (BJTI) at Tanjung Perak Terminal Surabaya PT. Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia (PT. BJTI) is one of branch PT. PELINDO III (Perseroan) which are in Tanjung Perak. At this time, PT. BJTI handle the loading and unloading activities of container in Terminal Berlian Tanjung Perak Surabaya. Terminal Berlian have a strategic value and potential to grow. Therefore, the Terminal Berlian role is big enough for activities trade’s inter-island and economic growth, especially in East Java Province. The administrative procedures of loading-unloading activities in PT. BJTI use Windows System and General. Windows System is devoted to shipping companies which have an agreement with PT. BJTI to determine the permanent’s place for their ship lean at Terminal Berlian and must stacked in Container Yard at least 50% of container will be loaded, if it does not meet’s will imposed penalty, while General System’s is devoted to shipping companies which don’t have the permanent’s place for their ship lean at Terminal Berlian, but is not imposed penalty to stack in Container Yard, but get a punishment if the activities time of loading-unloading is exceeding the targets, so as if the loading-unloading have done less than the targets time, the shipping companies will be given a reward. Procedures loading-unloading with Windows System and General System by PT. Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia (BJTI) has been compliance with appicable provision (administration and implementation). The obstacles that occur when activities can be handled according to systems and procudures estabilished by PT. Berlian Jasa Terminal indonesia (PT. BJTI) Surabaya.
