Abstract

In this paper the author discusses the optimization of implementation for carrying out the loading and unloading operations of Crude Oil on MT vessels. Eternal Oil II and discuss about the causes of the lack of skills of the crew in preparation before loading and unloading, how the supervision of senior officers to the crew in the loading and unloading process, What causes the lack of skills of the crew towards the procedures for loading and unloading on MT ships. Eternal oil II. lack of understanding in carrying out loading and unloading operations. Efforts are being made to increase the understanding of the crew about the load of Crude Oil, such as giving farniliarization to all crew members, especially to crew members who have just boarded the ship, to prevent errors when loading and unloading on MT ships. . Eternal Oil II. As well as the author discusses the notion of loading and unloading on MT ships. Eternal Oil II, several operations that are used during the loading and unloading process, things to watch out for when loading and unloading, and cargo placement arrangements. The purpose of this paper is to make the crew's ability to prepare before loading and unloading more optimal to understand what must be prepared when the ship begins loading and unloading, so that the supervision of senior officers to the crew is monitored, especially during the loading and unloading process and so that the crew know and understand what procedures must be prepared before the loading and unloading process begins. The method used by the author in compiling the paper is by interviewing directly with abk and officers on the boat and by direct observation when the loading and unloading process takes place on the ship where cadets practice MT.
