Abstract
Optimization of Loading and Dissemination of Cheap Ship Fertilizer Types in MV. IRIS TRIUMPH by PT. Arpeni Pratama Ocean Line Indonesia is an archipelagic country where waters are wider than land, so there is no doubt that the importance of sea transportation facilities for the transportation of cargo. Ports are a means for sea transportation to provide optimal facilities for development and economic progress. Less optimal in providing facilities is very undesirable, this often happens when loading and unloading takes place. So that the expertise and capabilities of the loading and unloading crew are given priority by paying attention to the operation, maintenance and support services. The purpose of writing in this paper is to be able to find out and solve problems that cause less optimal loading and unloading in the MV. IRIS TRIUMPH. The research method used in conveying this problem is to optimize the activities of the loading and unloading process which is very necessary for workers who are skilled and capable in carrying out the tasks that have been given to him. In the STCW Amendment 1995 & 1997 Chapter I Conventions, Rule 1/14 requires that each company can guarantee that every seaman placed on any vessel it owns must hold a certificate that complies with the provisions and conventions as determined by the administration. In order for optimal loading and unloading, namely with workers having knowledge of the operation of loading and unloading equipment, ship documents are ready before arriving at the port and the ships and ports always coordinate to avoid misunderstandings. If you find the lack of optimal occurrence in loading and unloading, you should pay attention to the understanding of workers and the facilities of work tools that are on board or at the port.
