Abstract

Ship accidents are one of the most common problems around the world that require serious handling given the huge disadvantages, if the sea crash problem is not properly addressed, it is feared there will be an increase in the number of ship accidents from year to year, the purpose of this study is to analyze the influence between independent variable to dependent variable. With the crew population of existing ships in the Port of Tanjung Emas Semarang taken sample of 100 respondents. With non-probability sampling technique of purposive sampling, data collection using questionnaires, data analysis techniques used are multiple regression analysis techniques including validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. From the result of research, there is correlation between independent variable with dependent variable, hypothesis test using t test and obtained by regression equation Y = 1,676 + 0,264X1 + 0,325X2 + 0,225X3 + 0,219X4 + μ indicate that four independent variable that is charge supervision (X1) , human error (X2), natural factor (X3), and technical error (X4) are proved to have a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable that is ship accident, with human error variable (X2) has the highest influence than other variables in influencing factor of traffic accidents, hypothesis test using f test that the four independent variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on ship accident factor variable, in determination coefficient test (R Square) Adjust R square value of 0,529 means 52,9% variation of variable bound to accident factor vessels can be explained by independent variables of charge control, human error, natural factors, and mistakes n technical. While the rest of 47.1% is explained by the causes other than the variables studied. Keywords : Cargo Control, Human Error, Natural Factor, Technical Error, Ship Accident.
