Abstract

This research is motivated by the frequent accidents of fishing vessels in Indonesia that cause shipping safety to be threatened and cause considerable losses to shipowners. By looking at the existing problems, if the sea shipping safety problem is not properly considered, it is feared that there will be an increase in the number of ship accidents from year to year, the purpose of this study to analyze the influence of independent variables to the dependent variable. With the crew population in the Bajomulyo Beach Fishery Port (PPP), 100 respondents were taken as samples. The research method used with non-probability sampling technique is incidental sampling, data collection using questionnaires, data analysis techniques used are multiple regression analysis techniques including validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The results of the multiple linear regression equation are obtained in chapter 4 that there is a partial positive influence between the resources of the fishing vessel crew, the feasibility of the ship, the tools of ship safety and the role of navigation aids to affect the safety of fishing boat fishing. Partially on the t test individually with the results of t count > t table with the results obtained in chapter 4 concluded that the four variables have a positive and significant effect on the shipping safety of fishing vessels, so that fish vessel accidents and shipowners are not more disciplined and Syahbandar at PPP Bajomulyo, Juwana so that in the issuance of the ship's sea worthiness certificate and sailing agreement it should be improved, especially in the inspection phase of the physical condition of the ship according to the design as well as the quality of stability in sailing. as well as enhanced performance of employees who have competence and qualification skills in the field of kesyahbandaran, to reduce the occurrence of ship accidents and improve the standards of shipping safer ship fishing more.
