Abstract

Import activities in Indonesia have experienced a fairly good development from year to year. To increase the development of imports the government will fix labor, fiscal, banking, market access and logistics issues. Imports still play an important role in Indonesia because Indonesia has not been able to meet their needs so that imported goods from abroad will come, but recently imports in Indonesia have decreased. Every region in Indonesia must have both export and import activities, for example in Central Java. Import activities in Central Java can be said to have decreased in 2015. The purpose of the writer to compiling this scientific paper is to know and understand the role of PT. Pelindo III (Persero) Tanjung Emas Semarang Branch for handling loading and unloading access. In loading and unloading access there is a loading and unloading information system. The loading and unloading information system acts as a means of providing information on loading and unloading activities carried out at the semarang container terminal. To implement the system, first an information system analysis is carried out using the waterfall method. The results of the analysis carried out, it is known that the required system is a system that can carry out loading and unloading data, loading and unloading information, documentation of loading and unloading activities at the semarang container terminal. The system is designed and built using PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) as a web display framework. Key Words: The role, Handling loading, Unloading access
