Abstract
Implamantation Annex I (Marine Pollution 1973/1978) As Prevention and Control of Oil Pollution by Ship in MT Pelumin Satu Concerning the ship's operational activities which may cause oil pollution, In accordance with Marine Pollution (MARPOL) 1973/1978 where all ships are required to carry out the implementation of annex I. Implementation of annex I the above the vessel is used in the prevention of oil spills on ship. it is necessary to review all matters relating to the prevention of marine pollution by oil, where the structure, equipment, equipment system, planning and condition of vessel comply with the provisions of Annex I Marine Pollution (MARPOL) Convention 1973/1978. The purpose of this study is to know and explain the international provisions governing the prevention of oil spills by the ship and its implementation in Indonesian legislation.
