Abstract
Almost every country that has water territory must have sea transport. The vessels is the most widely used water transport facility at sea and rivers, so the vessels plays an important role for the economy of a nation in advancing the country. The existence of the vessels certainly never be separated from the risk of vessel accident. Many caused by several factors such as Human Error due to lack of understanding of safety procedures. By providing an understanding of the importance of occupational safety as well as providing training.The understanding of safety procedures makes people aware of the use of safety equipment, equipment maintenance, understanding work procedures, and safety working environment. This refers to the provisions of the International Safety Management Code (ISM Code) which contains about how the implementation of ISM CODE is for safety on the operation of the vessel. The purpose of this study is to know how the effect of International Safety Management Code (ISM CODE) implementation on the safety of in carrying out duties as agency on vessels MV. MSC IMMA owned by PT. Panurjwan. In this study, the writer uses observation and interview techniques and also uses library research method. The results of this study that the implementation of International Safety Management Code (ISM CODE) for safety of in carrying out duties as agency on vessels MV. MSC IMMA owned by PT. Panurjwan is in accordance with the procedures.
