Abstract
PLTU Pipeline Unloading Activities on MV ships. IRIS TRIUMPH by PT. Arpeni Pratama Ocean Line at Dermaga Samudera the Tanjung Emas Semarang. Seeing the fact that Indonesia's geographical condition is an archipelagic country where the waters are far wider than the land, it is natural that the development and regulation of sea transportation today needs to be given great attention. The port in placing itself as the gateway to the economy must absolutely be able to contribute, among others, the emphasis on distribution costs that have an impact on purchasing power, competitiveness, and multiplier effects on growth and national income. Basically the tendency of the port management system is in line with the order, direction, target, and demands of port services and the development of patterns of distribution and transportation of goods requires cooperation between port operators (PT Pelindo) and PT. Arpeni Pratama Ocean Line (one of the loading and unloading companies) in an effort to increase productivity, optimize the use of facilities and equipment and the development of ports in the form of equal cooperation and mutual need (synergy). The main problem in this writing is what is the legal basis, the parties involved in loading and unloading goods and documents in the transportation of goods at sea; how the loading and unloading company relations with other parties; and how the role and responsibility of the loading and unloading company in the transportation of goods at sea. The purpose of the discussion of this study is to find out about the loading and unloading of goods at sea, the parties involved and also the documents needed in the transportation of goods; to see more about how the loading and unloading company relations with related parties in supporting the loading and unloading of goods at sea; and to know the role and also outline the boundaries regarding the rights and responsibilities of the company for loading and unloading in the transportation of goods at sea.
