Abstract
The development of the world at this time in terms of salvation in nature has begun to develop rapidly, but no one can know when accidents can occur. This causes the need for professional people who can search and help victims of accidents in nature. Professionals are required to have the technique of handling victims quickly and accurately. Including appropriate and safe actions for victims who experience accidents in nature. The purpose of this paper is to find out about the important role of BASARNAS as an effort to optimize the search and rescue of victims of accidents in nature, which is supported by SAR equipment, as well as how to find traces or locations of radio beacon reports that can emit signals during a distress event. The method taken by the author from field research and evidence reports that accidents occur in nature are proven by his practice in the National SAR Office (BASARNAS) Bandung, observations and interviews of BASARNAS office employees, and the ability of RESCUER professionals who are very important in the search. The results of this paper the role of BASARNAS is very important when getting information or signals from Radio Beacon during a distress in nature.
