Abstract
Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in the world, two thirds of Indonesian is territorial. There were accidents with casualties because of the shipwreck. The Indonesian supreme Shipping Court recorded 22 accidents in 2017. Efforts have been made to improve sea transportation, In order to reduce the risk of collision one of them is the collision regulation. The purpose of this study is the optimalization of collision regulation to the safety of voyages on board of MT. Patra Tanker 1 owned by PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental. The data collecting method used were field research method and library research study method used observation and interview. The technique result of this study that the optimalization of collision regulation of the safety of voyages on board of MT. Patra Tanker 1 owned by PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental the result of this study that the optimalization of collision regulation to the safety of voyages on board of MT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental had been implementing the collision regulation as optimal of possible based on the regulation. Key words : Collision Regulation, Safety Voyage, MT. Patra Tanker 1, PT.
