Abstract

Port Authority of Semarang has important role in Maritime world. Class 1 Port Authority of Semarang divide by 4 division, one of it was “Division of Voyage, Surveillance and Patrol” that has important role and function in part of Safety, Security and Certification of Ship and it’s Crew. Port State Control has role to ensure the safety and certification of overseas going Vessel that make entry in the territory of Semarang’s Port. Therefore the performance of PSC should be always watched by International World in Maritime Field. This papers give a special purpose to give viewers a knowledge and view about the role of PSC in improvement of Passanger and the Vessel security and safety by Document of Certification so that process and system became more efficient and accurate in region of port in Semarang Keywods : improvement, performance, overseas going vessel, PSC
