Abstract
HARBORMASTER CONTROL IN EFFORTS TO REALIZE SAFETY, SECURITY & PASSENGER CONSTRUCTION IN PORT Harbormaster is a government official or head of the port appointed by the minister with the task of carrying out supervision, law enforcement in the field of shipping safety and security and coordinating government activities at the port. The rapid development of sea transportation today has caused various types of ships, both for international, national, deep, shallow and river routes. To increase self-awareness in safety while on a cruise. This study uses observational methods in the field. These observations conclude that Harbormaster duties in safety, security & passenger order in shipping under Indonesian law are as law enforcers in the field of Indonesian shipping safety, security & order, as heads of government in ports or coordinators of all activities within ports, as security supervisors and supervisors.
