Abstract
OPTIMIZATION OF SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS TO MINIMIZE WORK ACCIDENTS IN TUG BOAT TRANSKO MURAI BY PT. PERTAMINA TRANSKONTINENTAL The importance of maintaining safety on the ship according to the safety management system is something that must be implemented because it is a very important factor for safety in carrying out every activity on the ship. The safety management system that is intended is an effort to prevent or reduce the bad things that will happen while doing activities on the ship. The purpose of this paper is to find out about the optimization of the safety management system to minimize the occurrence of work accidents in tug boats owned by PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental with Cilacap watershed operations. The data collection method used is the field research method and literature study that uses observation and interview techniques. The results of this paper are that the optimization of the safety management system to minimize the occurrence of work accidents in tug boats owned by PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental with Cilacap watershed operations has been carried out according to the safety management system in which there are drill, maintenance and familiarization Keywords: Safety management, work accident.
