Abstract
The navigation district is a State institution where the task is as a Technical Implementation Unit (UPT), the Navigation District has the duty and authority as regulator and maintainer of signs that exist throughout the Indonesian sea, to facilitate safe and secure shipping. To ensure transportation safety in the sea, it is necessary to have the facilities to support shipping safety, such as shipping cruise assistance facilities (SBNP). Cilacap Class III Navigation District which is a technical implementation unit from the Directorate General of Sea Transportation which organizes navigational activities which includes procurement, facilitating and managing shipping services for shipping purposes. To achieve perfection in carrying out these tasks, facilities and infrastructure are provided such as the Navigation State Ship, KN. Suar 005, which works under the auspices and working area of the Tanjung Intan Cilacap Class III District Navigation, as well as other infrastructure. The role of state ships in navigating operational activities for safety in navigation for ships carrying out shipping in the working area of Class III Tanjung Intan Cilacap. KN. The 005 has a very important role in the navigational operational process for optimal navigation safety for ships that cross the Tanjung Intan Cilacap Class III District Navigation work area.
