Abstract

Transportation is the movement of people from one place to another with or without the use of means. Along with the times that mark with population growth and increasingly sophisticated technologies resulting in transport, too evolve as the needs of each person or individual. Highway Kertosono Ngujang is the entrance to the city of Tulungagung from arahTimur, is traversed by the provincial road network connecting the primary collector function directly Grobogan to Blitar. Currently along the highway Ngujang as a very lively trading center for their industrial markets and small households. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors - factors that affect traffic congestion on Highway Ngujang, so it can be drawn up an action plan for the problem. From identification of problems, the author found that the cause of the traffic congestion on Highway Ngujang that is caused by Volume Vehicles, Roads, Barriers danTraffic Light Side. In this study places the user is taken Roads Kingdom Ngujang. Data sources include primary data. The samples in this study were 100 respondents who are users Roads Kingdom Ngujang. Based on empirical facts and the results of that research model and the multiple linear regression statistical tools SPSS version 20 in get multiple linear regression equation model of research are: Y= -0,32+ 0,162.X1 + 0,332.X2 + 0,196.X3 + 0,398.X4 + µ The results of multiple linear regression equation : (T = 2,654> t table 1.98525) Volume Vehicles on Traffic Congestion, (t = 5.531> t table 1.98525) Roads to Traffic Congestion, (t = 3.184> t table 1.98525) Side barriers against Traffic Congestion, (t = 6.388> t table 1.98525) Traffic Light on Traffic Congestion. The fourth influence is very strong research variable with a value of correlation R = 0.792. Simultaneously variable Volume Vehicles, Roads, Barriers Side effect on traffic congestion at 79.2% and 20.8% influenced by the study variables were not detected in this study.
