Abstract
The safetyness of a voyage is where all the safety requirements and the security on water transportation, ports, and marine environment are fulfilled. Passage plan is one of the most important factor for safety, security and smoothness of a voyage, the contigency plan while sailing in a narrow channels. Passage plan become an important factor on entering narrow channels because it can identify problems or danger when a ship is about to enter or while passing the narrow channels.The purpose of this study is to prosedure and mechanisme for drafting the shipping schem of passage plan on Km. Kombos owned by PT. Kanaka line its effect on the navigational safetyon narrow channels. The date collecting methods used ware library research and field research which to used observation and interview techniques. The result of this studyon the optimalisationof the making of passage plan on KM.Kombos owned by PT. Kanaka line its effect on the navigationalsafety an narrow channels is effective and optimal.
