Abstract
Fuel depletion is an initial process of burning fuel in the main engine. The quality of fuel removal depends on the extractor, the injector. With the right ignition timing and speed will increase the combustion perfection in the cylinder. The important thing that must be considered in the fuel atomizer is the damage that often occurs in the fuel atomizer system such as the accuracy of the time and speed of ignition during compression, the condition of the atomizer and the age of the atomizer. However, maintenance on the injector on a regular basis is very important in maintaining the process of ignition of the fuel, so that the performance of the main engine on the ship is more optimal. The Injector maintenance by means of a pressure test, overhaul, cleaned periodically where usually this is done after working hours reach the limits that have been specified in the user manual.
