In the process of loading and discharging activities, especially LPG cargo needs to be carried out properly, it requires careful preparation, both from the ship and the land side. Basically the handling of obstacles aims to overcome the problem in order to be resolved properly during the loading and discharging process. The problem that the writers take here is what obstacles occur during LPG/C loading and discharging process? What efforts should be undertaken to overcome the obstacles that arise during loading and discharging process on LPG/C gas ships ?. The purpose of this research is to know the loading and unloading of the ship and the ship in such a way as to embody the five principles of good loading. Loading and discharging is a shipping activity loading or discharging load by means of loading and discharging means, where the load is transferred from and to the vessel. Based on the results of the research, the rise in tank temperature is suddenly caused by the influence of external temperature and fast loading factor. In order to avoid danger when loading takes place, the tank temperature rise should be lowered by the action done by cooling down method, reducing vapor with cargo compressor, using vapor return line and cargo spray line. In loading and unloading activities, the ship's crew understands about the handling of LPG cargoes so that when the loading and discharging process is safe, the advice given is that the crew should follow the certification and training program on LPG as the basis to work on the gas tanker, this hope that all the crew ship may increase alertness in case of a problem arising during loading and discharging process.
