Abstract

Internal and External Use of the implementation of Ballast Water Management and the Effect for the Ship’s Stability on MT. Antea at Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement "WATER BALLAST MANAGEMENT" which is included in the IMO Convention on February 13, 2004 which requires all ships to implement a water ballast and sediment management plan. All vessels must carry a water ballast book and will be required to perform ballast water management procedures established by IMO standards. The rules can be filled with a variety of roads, so the water is clean and safe for the water at the port of destination. After more than 14 years of negotiations between IMO member countries, the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships Ballast Water and Sediments (BWM Conventio) was adopted consensively at a diplomatic conference held at IMO headquarters in London on 13 February 2004. In the implementation and implementation of Water Ballast Management on the ship will greatly affect the stability of the ship, here requires good knowledge and skill, so that in its implementation does not interfere with the operation of the ship.
