Abstract
Application of Annex V (Garbage) Marpol 1973/1978 In Optimizing Garbage Disporsal Arrangement above KM. BESAKIH Every country that has a water territory must have sea transport that is ship. Ships are a means of water transport that can be used in the sea and rivers, so the ship plays an important role for the economy of a nation in advancing the country. The existence of the ship certainly never be separated from the Pollution done by the ship caused by lack of understanding about the application of Marpol annex v (garbage) 1973/1978 in optimizing garbage disporsal arranggement.yang cause polluted waters caused by garbage. This refers to the provisions of Marpol 1973/1978 governing the optimization of Garbage on board. The purpose of this paper is to find out how the application of Annex V in Garbage Disporsal Arrngement optimization on board. in improving Understanding as an effort to Prevent water pollution conducted on board KM. Besakih on PT.Nusa Tenggara. In this paper, the author uses observation and interview techniques and also uses the method of literature study. The result of this paper that is the Application of Annex V (Garbage) Marpol 1973/1978 In optimizing Garbage Disporsal Arrangement in at KM Besakih in accordance with the various procedures required by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, IMO and PT.
